The OT took last year off Decom so we’ll be back with full mojo to heat the street with you like never before.
We’re all heart, as we team up with the Robot Heart crew, the Heart Deco bus, and the Dancestronauts. Big sound, musical variety, lots of production goodies in store for you for the day portion.
And, as you know by now, we’re not done with you yet, as we Recompress into the night w OT and friends around the corner at Mighty for an Opulent Temple post playa fundraiser that is always extra fun as we hit the ground running from the day and take into the night.

Welcome to the 8th incarnation of Opulent Temple. We have a new address this year at 2:00 & Baghdad. We create the space for sacred dance to world class music. We continue to output the intense effort it takes to do OT because we believe in the beauty and power of shared community in music and dance. Dance is the expression of the soul through movement. We invite you to express your soul amongst others bathed in big beats and fire light. We’re not all about the party. We hope you touch the part of you that inspires action and evolution in your life and sphere of influence. We aspire to open hearts and clear minds supported and surrounded by friendly freaks.
We hope you know camps like ours are entirely supported by the community and the camp members. We could use your help if you want to pitch in by donating (see donation widget in sidebar). Every dollar counts (and we’ll send you live recordings from past years as a thank you.)

Join Opulent Temple and Supperclub for an intimate evening of great food, music and company as we dine in opulence to smooth tastes and sweet tunes. The entire restaurant for the night will be given to the OT to dine with friends and supporters as every dinner’s proceeds will be donated to our 2010 project. A nice departure from the clubs and the undergrounds. OT DJ’s plus Supperclub’s signature unique dining experience with performances and characters throughout the night.

2 one hundred foot water slides, 300 tons of sand, eight swimming pools, nine stages including live music, electronic music stage, bluegrass and circus arts, giant foam wars bathtub, carnival midway and side shows, giant sand sculpture, thousands of your closest friends, and a host of other ambitious ideas yet to be formulated!
Also, come and participate in the WORLD’s BIGGEST WATER BALLOON FIGHT as WE ALL go for the WORLD’s RECORD! TIGER HONEY POT will be providing the soundtrack! It starts at 3pm sharp at the Wanderlust Stage…

You thought grandiose concept albums went out of style with the Nixon resignation? Well, you haven’t heard Kid Beyond and the Interplanetary Love Army. “From the start, I knew these ideas were larger than just individual songs,” Kid B explains. “They were scenes from a film, an overarching story. And I couldn’t do it with just me and my mouth. I needed to assemble some serious firepower.”

Opel & Opulent Temple team up again to participate in the 2nd Annual Superhero St. Faire. “An art and music festival celebrating community heroes.” This debuted last year on the water on the Islais Creek Promenade. It’s sort of a mini How Weird but in a more remote location w a different mission. Last year we had a blast so figured why not get super again. End of Indiana St. (1700 Indiana) @ Cesar Chavez – Islais Creek Promenade – right on the water. More deets to follow.
